AHL Quick Hits: Heavyweight bout in Rosemont tonight
LOOKING BACK: In Tuesday’s only AHL action, Maxim Noreau, Morten Madsen and John Lammers all tallied power-play goals and Nolan Schaefer made 21 saves in net to lead Houston over Iowa, 3-1, at the Toyota Center… The victory snapped the Aeros’ three-game losing skid.

OHA Hockey History – Moncton Sports Honours Gary Geldart
Hi gang, Rick Ostler here with OHL Hockey News, bringing you News and Views from the Ontario Hockey League as well Junior Hockey worldwide. News out of Moncton, NB to honour former OHA Hockey graduate Gary Geldart.
Moncton Sports Wall of Fame to to honour Gary Geldart
Gary will be inducted along with George “Georgie” Gallant in football, builder Donald Carr Ramsay, and the Moncton Mets (2006) baseball team.
The native of Moncton, New Brunswick played Bantam with the local Red Wings then played for the Halifax Canadians of the NSJHL and the Fredericton Red Wings of the NBJHL. In 1968-69 he came to the OHA to suit up for the Hamilton Red Wings and later toiled for the London Knights.
Gary Geldart played defence during his impressive 23-year hockey career, spending eight of those years playing professionally in the AHL.
