2009 World Junior camp: Goaltender position up for grabs
Who will be Canada’s goaltenders at the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship? Four of the top candidates were evaluated at the summer evaluation camp in Ottawa:
- Chet Pickard, a Winnipeg native and Nashville Predators prospect who currently plays for the Tri-City Americans.
- Tyson Sexsmith, a Priddis, Alberta native and San Jose prospect who currently plays for the Vancouver Giants.
- Dustin Tokarski, a Humboldt, Saskatchewan native and Tampa Bay Lightning prospect who currently plays for the Spokane Chiefs.
- Jake Allen, a Fredericton native and St. Louis Blues prospect who currently plays for the St. John’s Fog Devils.
On a side note, I sincerely apologize for the audio and video desynchronization. I’m definitely looking for a way to fix it.
