Dany Heatley Breathes a Sigh of Relief
Dany Heatley skated on a line with San Jose’s Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton last month at Team Canada’s Olympic orientation camp, and because Heatley was thought to be a Sharks‘ target most of the summer, the three kidded around a bit about the possibility of keeping that line together.
“We were kind of joking around with it,” Heatley said on a conference call Saturday after being traded from Ottawa to San Jose. “There was talk of San Jose as well. It was fun to get out on the ice with those guys.”
